The following is a review I did on Hearth & Home's Anniversary Kake on 02/21/2006.Anniversary Kake from Russ Oullette is yummy stuff. Mine came in a 1oz sticky yummy brick that was fun to rub out, stained my fingers nicely =). This is a perfect balance in the Vaper genre. The Virginia and the Perique marry so lovely in this delicious kake. It goes without saying I thoroughly enjoyed this smoke. I will gobble some more of this sticky kake up for sure. Everything I have put in a bowl from Russ has been top notch.
This blender definitely loves what he does and we reap the benefits thereof...thanks Russ! 3.5 stars...almost 4.

| Tin Description: | We ordered a blending Virginia that we expected to be all Red, but it turned out to be a mixture of everything from Lemon through Brown, and when we opened the bag, the aroma was amazing. We were able to order more of this tobacco, and then we combined it with St. James Perique (a good amount), heat-treated and pressed it. The result is a smooth, flavorful cake with a mouth-watering chocolate and fig pouch aroma. It may not be around for a long time, but it should age well, so you might want to consider cellaring some. |
